Metro Station is a pop rock group. A month before they signed to that label this band already got an early attention of Alternative Press as well as URB and Teen Vogue magazines. The third single from Metro Station self title debut album is called “Shake It” and lucky for them when that song reaching top ten on the Billboard top 100 around June 2008 and also ever rank no 4 at Canadian Hot 100.

Due to good reception on Shake it single, Metro Station qualified for Gold from Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June and certified Platinum at the same year. Not only that, ‘Shake it’ also selected to used in TV spot, promo ads and soundtrack for film.
The latest news is this song just becomes an original soundtrack for new Hollywood’s spoof ‘The House Bunny’. ‘Shake it’ expected to be released in the UK on the next January 2009.

Ok, that is the brief history for the song. Now, give your opinion how this girl playing and singing the same song? I know she is pretty but what we can observe she had a nice voice too. Actually singing while playing a guitar is not an easy thing to do but as you see in that video this girl did a great job. To be honest she perform better than the original and deserve applaud for her performance. What do you think?
